39 Ways to Torment Your Cat

Before anyone freaks out and calls PETA and starts burning kitty litter boxes on my front lawn, I’m talking about a hilarious e-book that I’ve come across. I’m a Sagittarius, and while I don’t buy into zodiac signs too much, I am an avid animal lover. Not only do I love animals, but I seem to attract friends who love and live with a lot of animals. As a budding writer I’m always looking for fun books to read to relax and take my mind off, and this one certainly fits that mold.

Before anyone freaks out and calls PETA and starts burning kitty litter boxes on my front lawn, I’m talking about a hilarious¬†e-book that I’ve come across.

I have a love/hate relationship with cats. I love cats because they’re adorable and unintentionally hilarious. I hate them because they have a sixth sense and know how very allergic I am to them and they insist on rubbing their cute little faces all over me, making me sneeze my brains out. Where people compare living with dogs to living with a tiny hairy baby, cats are more like little 7-year-olds: they are overly confident for how little they actually understand about the world and they take themselves way too¬†seriously. Because of this anytime they do something stupid it’s twice as funny.

If you’re like me you spend a lot of time looking at cats and cat related posts online. I have a friend Emily who we are constantly texting cat pictures and articles to each other pretty much daily. Cats are a constant source of amusement and I can’t get enough dumb adorable kitties when I’m goofing off on Facebook.

If you like to laugh at cats I highly recommend the e-book 39 Way to Torture Your Cat. It’s a hilarious look at one man’s plight of being stuck home alone with his wife’s cat Patrick after he lost his job. The book is part daily musings and part petty revenge shenanigans with an annoying household pet. If you’ve ever had a cat or been around someone who owns one, you will definitely relate to this e-book.

This book is a fun read with some great illustrations provided. It would make a great gift for the cat lover and/or hater in your life, especially if they have a great sense of humor. Again, it is not a literal way of harming animals; no cats were waterboarded during the writing of this book. It’s more in the vein of old school cartoons like Tom and Jerry.

If you love to laugh and you love to laugh at cats, you need to pick up this e-book. Check it out and let me know how you liked it in the comments below.
